2 days after the date , i received a msg on my cell ----let us stand up for one minute at 9 this evening to pay homage to those who died in these attacks.
It really bothered me.
I think we need more than just a standing up for 1 min.
WE INDIANS ARE THE BIGGEST HYPOCRATES....and unlike everything worthwhile the the politicians take the lead in this regard....Today a BSP leader is all praises for the armed forcesfor saving him from Taj but only a month back his leader ,riding on her fat elephant, had abused a matyr police officer by calling him a cheat for faking a terrorist shootout...Today we all cheer the army for their bravery and valour when they shot down the terroristsbut we are the same people who grudge when the army is given special privileges , crying foul over discrimination....and we have a pm who seems to be least bothered...he has got his recorded speech ready for such events...and when you see the avg person goin out to work in midst of attacks ...we happily proclaim it to be the spirit ofindia...its just we have got immune...frankly, we really dont care until and unless its one of us...and please note :by one of us i dont mean one of my countrymen .....
Toay there ll be huge talk...there ll be graet ideas coming through...and then after a few days there ll be nothing...everything ll be same again...Our spirit ll come through again....Our callous attitude of that to forget and move on.....Our compromising nature ll again get the better of the burst of anger...And our lack of patriotism and our sellf centreness and oyr cowardness ll be out in the pen for everyone to see...We ll be waiting again for the next attacks to attain enlightment ...to be united again... to once again chant VANDE MATARAM....So till that time lets do what we do best ....RECIPROCTE...one step forward and two step back...
OUR govt doesnt have the guts to anything about it and we are not patriotic enough....
